How to Use ViVi Stationery UV DTF Transfer Stickers for Paper & Crafts
Looking for an easy way to decorate your scrapbooks, journals, planners, cards, or even cups and plastic surfaces? Our UV DTF transfer stickers are specially made for paper and craft lovers, giving you vibrant, long-lasting results.
What Is a UV DTF Transfer Sticker?
A UV DTF transfer sticker is a printed design placed on a transparent film, with a backing layer (usually clear or white) that protects it until you’re ready to use it.
This type of sticker is:
✨ Bright and vivid in color
✨ Waterproof, sun-resistant, and scratch-resistant
They are commonly used to decorate tumblers, cups, plastics, glass, metal, and other smooth, hard surfaces.
What makes ViVi Stationery’s UV DTF stickers special is that they are also designed to work beautifully on paper and card stock — something most regular UV DTF stickers can’t do. Ordinary UV DTF stickers will almost always tear the paper surface completely, ruining the project. Ours are made for paper lovers to enjoy smooth, flawless results.
Compared to PET stickers, vellum stickers, or washi stickers, our UV DTF stickers offer much richer, more vibrant colors. When it comes to rub-on (print-on) stickers, they are also easier and more user-friendly to apply.
How to Use Our UV DTF Transfer Stickers
1 Prepare your surface
Make sure your paper, card stock, glass, or other surface is clean and dry.
2 Rub over the design using a soft scraper
Gently rub over the front (transparent sheet). We recommend using a soft, flexible scraper; avoid sharp or hard tools. For simple designs without fine details or letters, you can often skip this step once you’re familiar with the product.
3 Peel off the backing sheet
Slowly peel away the backing. If some parts still stick, lay the transparent sheet back down, press, and lift again. Bending the backing layer helps peel it off smoothly.
4 Apply to your surface
Position the transparent sheet on your paper, card stock, glass, or any smooth surface.
5 Press and smooth the design
For large, simple designs, pressing with your hand is often enough. For delicate details, use the included small wooden stick to ensure they stick perfectly.
6 Peel away the transparent sheet
Slowly peel off the transparent sheet, and admire your finished result!
Tips for Best Results
- ✨ Some materials (like certain types of resin) may react differently. We recommend testing a small area first.
- ✨ Not suitable for use on fabric or clothing.
- ✨For small or delicate designs (like fine letters), peel the transfer film back at a sharp angle, almost folding it flat against the surface, so the pulling force stays parallel to the paper instead of upward. This helps the design stay down instead of lifting.
- ✨If one angle still won’t release after thorough rubbing, try peeling from a different direction. Sometimes a change of angle makes the transfer easier.
