About Embossing Depth
Our embossed paper is pressure-embossed with embossing dies to create a genuine raised and recessed texture. Because paper is a natural fiber material, slight variations in thickness, moisture content, and fiber structure can occur between designs and production batches. Embossing pressure must also be carefully controlled to avoid damaging or cracking the paper.
As a result, embossing depth may vary between designs, colors, and production batches. Some patterns may have a more pronounced texture, while others may appear softer and more subtle. These variations are a normal characteristic of the paper embossing process, and all designs undergo the embossing process.
We filmed this video in natural light, with no filters or visual effects, to show the designs and embossed texture as clearly as possible.
A little note about the embossing: it may look slightly softer in person than it appears in the video, although all sheets are embossed to the same depth as those shown. This is simply because angled light creates stronger highlights and shadows, while the printed colours and even indoor lighting can make the texture look more subtle when viewed straight on. The embossing is genuine and can also be felt by touch or seen from the back.
